Keeping My Eye Out

I'm not going to lie, I'm totally picking up ideas and thoughts on all the venues/floral arrangements/themes/colors/etc that I am seeing this summer for my future wedding. It is true, I do not have a ring on my finger, (yet!); but we are begin to plan and think about what we would want for our big day. I'm totally getting a heads up on all the other brides-to-be out there! If you're nice, or my brother's fiance, maybe I'll share my knowledge!

For example here are some samples for an event that will be coming up in November. I am in love with them! Definitely on the top of my list for floral arrangements for our wedding!

Centerpiece in "log;" white hydrangea, daisy, purple stock, light blue delphinium, yellow solidago, and different types of grasses and wheat stems

Centerpiece: Different types of grasses and wheat, light blue delphinium, purple stock, variegated pitt, and blue eryngium

Also, here's pictures of this week's purple florals:

A Week of 900 Roses and 400 Hydrangeas

This week was a whirlwind! While I was at work on Tuesday, the girls processed tons of flowers - mostly ivory roses and white hydrangeas. From 10am to 4pm on Wednesday we worked on boutonnieres/corsages. Yes folks, that's 6 whole hours of lapel and shirt pin-ons ONLY! Phew! Thursday was bouquets and centerpieces; and Friday was mushroom cloud making, (I couldnt partake due to being at work, again.) And of course, Saturday is delivery day. Three weddings to deliver; 8am start time; and two teams. One team delivered two of the downtown wedding receptions, while the other team delivered the "Big Fat Greek Wedding" to Greenwood Village.

I cannot wait to see pictures of the "Big Fat Greek Wedding!"
For now, here are the pictures of my work for the week and some of the set-up receptions:
