My 30th Birthday Bash

I turned 30 a couple weeks ago, so here are some photos taken via iPhone and some of my mother's snaps as well. It was quite a fun night! Definitely a great way to ring in a new decade! I can't thank my friend, Jenn, enough for opening up her home and helping me out with the decor and set up for my party. She's amazing! I also want to thank Ashley and my family for pitching in with making the wonderful and tasty food, and of course everyone who was able to attend! I am surrounded by the best people!

My co-worker and friend asked me to create her florals for her Halloween night wedding. It was so much fun doing something a little bit out of the box and different. Here are some iPhone photos of her arrangements since it was really dark in her venue, (duh! It was All Hallows Eve!)

Luckily, Claire said she would pick up the flowers, especially since she was heading up to Allie's Cabin in Beaver Creek, CO!

Wedding Wednesday Blog Collaboration

Abbey with Purple Summer Events contacted me to help with a featured blog post that Jessi Dalton Photography was looking forward to working on. It was a last minute, "sure!" The Big Fake Wedding - Denver (featured on Ruffled Blog!)

I decided to go big and try something new this past August 2015 - I signed up and participated in a bridal show unlike any other!: The Big Fake Wedding! The Big Fake Wedding is a bridal show and "fake" wedding all in one. The bridal show vendors, (listed at the end of the post), design and create everything a wedding usually includes - ceremony decor, reception decor, dessert/cake, music, videography and more! The Big Fake Wedding recruits a married couple to renew their vows in front of the bridal show guests and then welcome the guests to celebrate with them at a reception set up similar to that of a wedding. 

Is was such a great time. Lots of work and quite a long day but the people I met and worked with was well worth all of it! If you have a chance to attend one of these events, do it!
