Flirty Fleurs Seattle 2-Day Floral Workshop

I was so nervous to sign up to fly out to Seattle to take Flirty Fleurs's 2-day floral workshop, but I took the leap and did it! Last weekend was totally worth a short weekend on my own to meet with other great florists and learn about my business and myself as a floral artist. It felt so good to be a part of a group that helped each other and discussed many techniques and ideas. I learned so much, mostly that it's okay to price my product accordingly, I want to be a part of a competitive market and not under cut myself. I gained the confidence to finally reach out to other wedding floral designers to create a meet up group to help build each other up as small business owners and women in our industry, which I have been wanting to do since December. I'm hoping for a good response and feel very positive about it. Sometimes one just has to take a leap and do/create what moves them and gives them passion; be excited about what you do! I truly believe that it will make others feel that passion and excitement with you.

Day Two of workshop: $60 Centerpiece using tape grid
Hydrangea, queen anne's lace, garden roses, jasmine, anemones, feather eucalyptus and dusty miller

$70 Centerpiece using chicken wire
Hydrangea, roses, sumac, wax flower, ranunculus, hypericum and feather eucalyptus
