A "Normal" Week in the World of a Floral Intern

Day 1 - This is processing day. All the flowers that we will be using the upcoming week get delivered all in one day, and at one time. This means for 6-8 hrs we are unpacking, counting, organizing, snipping, and hydrating.

Day 2 - 4 we create:
Wedding #1: Groomsmen boutonniere - Bells of Ireland and lily grass loop

Bridesmaid bouquet - Bells of Ireland, ivory roses, and purple stock (day of delivery we added purple and white sweet pea due to how fragile sweet peas are)

Bride's bouquet - Bells of Ireland, purple stock, ivory roses, and phlox (day of delivery we added white freesia)

Wedding #2: Groom's boutonniere - white calla lily, crespedia (billy ball) and green fiddle head

Groomsman #1 boutonniere to match Bridesmaid #1 bouquet - turquoise

Groomsman #2 boutonniere to match Bridesmaid #2 bouquet - green (poppy pod)

Groomsman #3 boutonniere to match Bridesmaid #3 bouquet - orange (protea bloom)
Not shown: lavender and pink (larkspur/dahlia)

Father's boutonniere - green fiddle head with billy balls

Ringbearer boutonniere - orange dahlias

Centerpiece

Wedding #3 Brides Bouquet - White peonies, white roses, billy balls, and dusty miller

Day 4 - "D" Day (D = Delivery)
This is inside the delivery van of only 1 out of 4 of the weddings we had this week.

What can I say? We make things PRETTY!
