My Wedding Week!

Sorry for my absence the past few months - I have been working on my own wedding! I have about 5 days until the wedding and of course I am doing all the planning and designing my own flowers! Today, Tuesday, I picked up my order of flowers from the wholesaler. Then I had to de-leaf all the stems and put into water. Thank goodness I had the help of my sister! Now my basement is full of gorgeous flowers and my house smells amazing!

Our rehearsal lunch, (yeah, not dinner - I'm trying to be different ;) ), will be fairly "manly." We are holding it at The Denver Beer Company's private event space, The Barrel Room. I am going to be using local brewery growlers for my flower vases, and the "flowers" will be wheats/grasses. There will be an awesome dessert bar and succulents in metal containers to round everything out.

Then our wedding flowers will be white and lime - our main colors being navy and aqua.
